From visitors: your name, phone number, email address and, if you give it, the area you live in. From mandal admins: the same details plus your mandal's address, location pin, description and the photos you upload. Your browser also tells us your approximate location while the map is open. That happens on your device only — we do not store it or send it to our server.
To show you the map, to send festival updates you asked for, and to contact mandal admins about their listing. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone outside this project.
Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and CARTO. When you tap "Get directions" we hand you over to Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy. Joining the WhatsApp group is optional and governed by WhatsApp's terms.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to noreply@tratakaasolutions.com and we will act within thirty days. Mandal photos and descriptions are public by design — deleting your account removes them from the map.
Visitor details are kept until the end of the festival season, then deleted unless you have asked to stay on the updates list. Mandal listings are kept year to year so you do not have to register again.
